Joel Embiid Is Already Starting The “Kevin Durant To Philly” Movement

Joel Embiid was drafted to the Sixers two years ago at this point. Since then, he hasn’t stepped on the floor for a single minute. It’s been two straight years of constant questions regarding his health, questions regarding his work ethic, questions regarding his nutrition, etc. etc. So would it be nice if we could maybe have Joel Embiid focus more on finally getting himself able to play instead of recruiting the biggest name on the Free Agent market this offseason? Sure, maybe. But I’ll tell you this right now. If Joel Embiid can figure out a way to actually get Kevin Durant to Philly, well then he can sit out as long as he wants to and will still be good to go in my book. Plus, he does bring up a pretty good point here…

The accuracy of that statement may¬†be open for interpretation¬†a bit but for now, I’m down with it. Kevin Durant, Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons, Jahlil Okafor, Allen Iverson on the comeback tour. Sounds like a pretty dece starting 5 to me.
